October 16th, 2010 - Almost all freshers this year and seniors celebrated the Eid-Fitri at the Concourse, Student Union, University of Hull. The aim of this event is to gather all the bruneians together and to get to know each other better. The event started off at 1:30pm by recitation of doa selamat by the Religious Officer, Hazwan Awang.
Traditional foods such as Sapit, Kueh Moor, Nasi Briyani etc were served with Hari Raya songs serving as background music, boosting the Eid's environment.
The announcement of the formation of BruHull society also took place in the event too which is yet to be registered with BSUnion. This event was the first event where all the responsibilities of the new committee members took part. After all chitchats, laughters and flashes, the event finished around 5pm in the afternoon with group photos. Eventhough it was a bit longer than expected, it was successful as the first event organized by the society. 
The organising committees feel grateful to see almost all people attended the event. Thanks to the helping hands and kindly hearted ones who brought foods to the event, not forgotten the committee members who made this event a success. :)
