BruHullians attend to Charity Football Tournament in Bradford
In the early morning of 27th November, a group of Hull boys took an hour and a half trip, trying to resist the unbearable coldness upon arriving Bradford, furiously flowing through cold breeze and a short pick up stop at the sports store, it was well worth it said Yusof - our "Captain" by majority votes. Hazim, Zizan and Izzat, enjoying the city sites where Bradford has to offer, well... we all did ENJOY it! These boys took the opportunity to participate in a Charity Football Tournament for cancer awareness. Prior to that, Sham and Nazim enjoyed a traditional staple food in Malaysia, truth be told "Nasi Lemak". Nothing exciting? Both Sham and Nazim enjoyed their meals "outdoors". This is the closest we can get hold of Nasi Katok. Wait, what about Durian, Ambuyat, Cucur Keladi, Kek Batik. I digress.
Tournament wise, although, we did not get that trophy as requested by Juwan, we had fun. Labui said "This is the opportunity for you guys to see, to observe, to look through what went wrong in our playing style". That being said, these lads played for FUN in a non-competitive way. Muiz with his usual serious game play, Hazwan 'Wan' with his Van Der Sar safes, Izzat with his Eto'o dribbles, Zizan similarly to that one French who keeps breaking his leg, ha ha.. I digress. Some of you may wonder, and to whom lacking knowledge, digress is by definition to drift in a tangent. Ahh, I digress. Anyways, the tournament took place in an indoor sports hall. With the least expectation of how COLD it is, we managed to stay warm and break sweats!
In this charity event, with addition to kicking balls - football - we met Arif Akinari (Hj Kampung!). All the boys took the opportunity take pictures with the famous, most wonderful Bruneian Independent Amature Turn Semi-Pro Director. Later in the evening, we explored Bradford and its glorious majestic snow filled wonderland. Taking pictures, exploring the town sides, forming one of the greatest memories yet hold by these boys. Deep in their adventurous exploration, we encountered Fusia shining down from the heaven lights (Chino Thai) - "Eat as much as you like buffet"!
To my lovely, dearly, most utterly serious readers, take this post as a story written by the Gods handed down to Izzat Yaakub as a testament with an extra nail to the coffin case book. Ha ha... THATS ALLLL FOLKS!
