BruHull BBQ 2011 Report.

Pearson Park

About 50 BruHullians attended the BBQ held at Pearson park. The goal was not just to have fun and eat, as the BBQ was aimed towards those who are on their final year studying here at Hull. Besides the massive contributions of food and drinks from everyone and Izzat bringing his trademark ribs to the picnic table (which were delicions!), the BBQ was also a day where we have the leavers go on to have fun - The leavers games as we called it.

The leavers games were well planned and very elaborate with 6 stations with 3 games each in them. Games varied from blowing and popping a baloon, to finding coins inside very disgusting home-made goo made of things to filling up a bottle with water...using sponges.

Afterwards we all played in a big game of Ultimate Frisbee where everyone of different skill were encouraged to be involved. All in all it was a great day of great fun.

Other notable events included the election for the new President, Vice-President and Secretary. We have already decided on who will continue what Hisham Sabtu has started and will be looking forward to the ideas they will bring forward next year.
