On May 17th 2014, The BruHull society organised a BBQ event in Pearson Park. This event was organised as a get together event for all Bruneians who are currently studying in Hull University, the sole purpose of this event was to informally say goodbye to the 3rd Years, Masters & PhD students who will be leaving us this year.
Allamdulilah, the event was a success and the weather was on our side. It was the warmest weather we had all year! Big thank you to the new committee of 2014/2015 for their dedication in delivering a splendid event for the leavers.
The event started off with a speech and Doa from the President and Vice President of BruHull society, Faiz Hamid & Nurur.
As BruHull believe in a balance lifestyle, we included an Aerobic session as well before the fun games begin. Aerobic session was lead by our very own sports secretary, Ashley Khoo.
The girls of BruHull did a wonderful job "beautifying" our very own BruHull 2014/2015 Banner! All the leavers got a chance to leave memorable messages for future students to see.

Games include Picture hunt, Draw it!, Multi-legged Race, ice cream race and newspaper dance.
With exams so near, it was a much needed break for all of us.

Food was delicious! Many thanks to the BruHull boys for their help with the BBQing.
As part of their "leaving" gift, the leavers were given white t-shirts to write messages to each other. Here are some pictures taken showing them doing just that;
Thank you to the committee 2014/2015 but also we would like to thank the previous committee for their guidance and hardwork, so special thanks to Job Ong, Jalilah, Wan Hannah Karim, Raihanna Mohammad, Vun, Jun & Afif. We could not have done it without you!
To the leavers, Congratulation on your degree/master/PhD and it has been nice knowing you all. Allahmdulilah. The road to success is never easy but all of you made it look like a piece of cake.
Goodluck in your future endeavours & we hope that you settle in well back Home. Feel free to visit Hull anytime ( next year perhaps? :p). We will miss you & We're grateful to meet such wonderful people.
